Samsung has officially launched a new Android smartphone, called the Samsung Galaxy Gio. Samsung Galaxy Gio runs on Android 2.2 OS and is powered by an 800MHz processor. Samsung Galaxy Gio is pre-loaded with Swype virtual keyboard, Android Market access, Samsung Apps, and Social Hub.
Samsung Galaxy Gio has a 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, a 3.2-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (HVGA), GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, 158MB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot, and a 1350 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Gio supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA cellular networks. Samsung Galaxy Gio measures 110.5 x 57.5 x 12.15 mm.
The Samsung Galaxy Gio will come to Russia and gradually to other European countries, India and China.
