Samsung USA has officially announced a new Android handset called Samsung Gem SCH-i100.
Samsung Gem SCH-i100 runs Android 2.1 Eclair.
Samsung Gem SCH-i100 also comes with a 3.2 WQVGA touchscreen display, Swype virtual keyboard, social networking integration (via Samsung Hub), MicroSD card support, 3.2MP camera, and an 800MHz processor.
There is no word on the price of the Samsung Gem.
